To My Grandfather..

How do I start this? How do you say goodbye to someone as great as you? You know, they always say you should celebrate a loved ones life. You shouldn't mourn their death, but instead celebrate the life they have lived. You lived one of the greatest lives I have ever known.

You came to Canada and not only made a life for yourself, but a life for all you children. You brought security to your family. You worked so hard, and it wasn't for yourself. It was for your children and your grandchildren.

You have been a major influence on my life since birth. You were always there along with my own father to teach me right from wrong. You taught me how to respect my family, how to respect women, how to live my life positively and always have a smile on my face. Every day that I saw you, you had a smile on my face and would have a joke or a "back in the day" type story to tell me. I loved every minute of it, and knowing that I won't be able to hear these stories again breaks my heart.

You were always such a strong man. You never complained about anything and always had others interests in mind before your own. Even until the end, while in the hospital you still had your same sense of humor and strength. I wish I had your strength and courage to help me get through all this pain. I am trying to be strong for my family, but knowing that I'll never be able to go over and discuss the weekends soccer games with you tears me apart. Knowing that whenever I go see Grandma, you won't be around the corner doing your crosswords, listening to your radio breaks my heart so much.

You were always full of life, and seeing you lay there with the life taken away from you is something that hurt in ways unimaginable. I know that pain is supposed to be temporary but this is a hurt that is so deep that I don't know how I will ever be able to recover. Knowing that I will never be able to see you again, talk to you again, hold your hand one more time is just too painful to recover from. Holding your hand so tightly, praying for you told squeeze back and begging you to please just wake up but knowing you wouldn't was a hurt too deep to heal. I'm trying so hard to be strong like you Abuelito but I can't.

I love you SO much. You will always be in my heart and the hearts of your entire family. We were all there with you in the hospital bed when you left us, and I know in our hearts you'll be their with all of us until our end. You were a great man, one of the greatest I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. If I could ever be even HALF the man you ever were, I know i'll have lived a good life. Te Amo Abuelito Pancho. I Love You so much. Watch over me and my entire family. We'll see you again one day.

IIIT'S TIIIIIIIIMMEE!!!!

Man, when Bruce Buffer said those two words, there was not one person at the Rogers Center that wasn't loosing their mind. The sound of 55,000 people cheering was just deafening. This was honestly one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. I was part of history! I attended the first ever UFC event held in Ontario, with a record breaking attendance of 55,000 people. It was honestly crazy in the Rogers Center. I thought the roof was going to be blown off!!

With the exception of one or two fights, the action was unreal. The 3 main fights people wanted to see were Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida vs Randy "The Natural" Couture, Mark "The Machine" Hominick vs Jose Aldo, and the main event Jake Shields vs Georges "Rush" St-Pierre.

Not many people gave Couture a chance against Machida but seeing a UFC hall of fame legend in the ring was enough to have the entire crowd chanting "RANDY! RANDY! RANDY!". Machida did win the fight, however, with a very entertaining front kick to the face! Despite the loss, Couture will go down as a legend in the sport and even after he was KO'd, the crowd was still on his side. Quick side note: Steven Seagal was in Machida's corner. Remember when Anderson Silva KO'd Belfort with a front kick to the face? Guess who was in his corner.. That's right, Steven Seagal. How badass is that?!?!

The Hominick vs Aldo fight was for the UFC featherweight championship and it lived up to its expectations. Aldo dominated most of the fight and showed us all why he was the champ. At one point in the fight he delivered a perfect elbow to the forehead of Hominick that gave him a bump so big we could see it up in the 500's! We thought it was over for Hominick, but when the 5th and final round began he came out determined! He pinned Aldo down on the ground and was raining down fists. It looked like Hominick was going to KO Aldo in the last round until time ran out. Had the round been 30 seconds longer, I am sure Hominick would have gotten the KO. The decision was given to Aldo, but I don't think this is the last we hear from "The Machine".

And then there was the main event: GSP vs Shields. I'll be completely honest with you guys, this fight was a snoozer. It was five rounds of GSP and Shields exchanging one-two's and every now and then connecting. Shields got a few good punches in there which lead to GSP being unable to see out of one eye and bloody face, while Shields received a few good licks as well and was bloodied up. In the end the decision went to GSP but I feel as though he is fighting too conservatively. His last few defenses have consisted of him staying back throwing jabs from the outside. We want to see a KO or a submission or something to make us jump out of our seats! Maybe he needs to fight someone who is a little more explosive. Perhaps and Anderson Silva vs GSP super fight? Dare to dream!! But as for this fight, I was honestly more entertained by the brawl happening 5 rows behind us.

In the end, this was an experience I will NEVER forget. The atmosphere was unreal, the crowd was pumped up, and it was worth EVERY penny. Yes, I would have like to have seen a better main event, but it's alright. The rest of the night made up for it. If you weren't there last night because you figured you'd rather watch it at home, you definitely missed out. Next time the UFC comes to Toronto, I urge every single one of you to go out of your way to get a ticket. Do whatever you have to do. Sell your soul if you must! It is an experience that is worth every single penny!!

Hottest/Sexiest female movie character.. Concluded!

Alright ladies and gentlemen, this is it. We have finally made to the top 5 female movie characters. It was a long a perilous journey but at last we are here. Lets dive right in shall we?

5. Satanico Pandemonium (Salma Hayek) - From Dusk till Dawn, 1996

First, I want to say that this movie is one bad ass flick. Yes, we are aware that in this movie Salma probably has maybe 2 or 3 lines ate the most but who cares. When Satanico comes out and starts doing her dance, it went from 6 to noon in every guys pants. She does her sexy little dance in her sexy little outfit and there was automatically a shortage of lotion and kleenex all over the world. Sure she turns into some ugly ass vampire and starts killing, but we can look past that. I mean, I can as long as she does that on her own time, not when she's with me.

4. Rachel Jansen (Mila Kunis) - Forgetting Sarah Marshall, 2008

Rachel Jansen is one of our all time favourites. Lets look at the obvious: she's fucking beautiful, she has a great smile, and a nice little tight body. Now let's look past that: is it just me or was Rachel the funnest hostess of all time? I mean, she starts hanging out with Peter, they start partying. She's funny, can take a joke, and can throw down when she has to. She even knows there's a topless picture of her in a bar bathroom and she's totally cool with that. Come on, if Rachel Jansen isn't in your top 5, you need to seriously re-evaluate your list.

3. Princess Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) - Return of the Jedi, 1983

In "A New Hope", she wore that conservative white gown. In "The Empire Strikes Back", she was bundled up for the cold weather. So when she came out in "Return of the Jedi" sporting this skimpy gold bikini, you better believe that every Star Wars nerd got friction burns on their hands. To this day nerds still pleasure themselves to this image. Who knew that Princess Leia had such a great bod?! Not only that, but while wearing this little number she still manages to handle her business and dispose of Jabba the Hut. It takes a special kind of Princess to manage that task.

2. Natalia Rushman/Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) - Iron Man 2, 2010

By day, she's the by the books sexy as hell Natalia Rushman. By night, she's the leather wearing, sexy as hell Natasha Romanoff. We know all girls have secrets but damn, this is one sexy ass secret. Even if she wasn't wearing the leather and just stuck to her pencil skirts, heels, and tight blouses, our jaws would still be on the floor. On top of all that, she can kick some ass. She's got some nice moves, so we know she's flexible. I wouldn't mind going a couple of rounds with her if you know what I mean.

1. Nancy Callahan (Jessica Alba) - Sin City, 2005

What guy doesn't have Jessica Alba in their top 5? Now picture Jessica Alba as a stripper, constantly in skimpy outfits, doing provocative dances. That, my friends, is Nancy Callahan. This chick is one sexy devil. For a girl who was kidnapped and almost raped/killed at the age of 11, we think she turned out just fine. What makes her different from all the other girls on the list? Well for starters, she is hella tough. I mean, after being whipped the way she was and still not scream, that has to count for something. And even when it seems as though the end was near, she still mocks the bad guys. That is one tough, sexy mamma. For these reasons, Nancy Callahan is our number one hottest/sexiest female movie character.

We did it guys. We got through the entire list. But I'm curious to see who's on you list. Drop us a line and let us know who would be on your list or who you feel didn't deserve to be on it. We hope to hear from you soon!

Hottest/Sexiest Female movie character.. Continued

OK so we made it through numbers 15-11. There were a few people who loved it, and those who did not agree. Lets re-cap: 15. Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth), 14. Gia Carangi (Angelina Jolie), 13. Kelly Van Ryan (Denise Richards), 12. Kathryn Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar), 11. Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton John). We are now entering the top 10, and this is where things get real juicy. So lets jump right in..

10. Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert) - The Girl Next Door, 2004

"I'm all wet, can I come in". That line alone justifies her being part of the top 10. I mean, what guy would not salivate at the idea of a super sexy porn star living next door to them? Not only is she smoking hot, but she she's such a sweet girl. Yes she is a porn star, meaning she probably takes a vast amount of penis, but it's nothing wearing a condom won't fix. Plus, she's willing to leave it all behind for the right guy.

9. Ginger Knowles (Halle Berry) - Swordfish, 2001

So we all know Halle Berry is one smoking hot lady. Her in any role automatically brings the sexiness up by 200% hands down. But in Swordfish she plays an undercover agent trying to infiltrate John Travolta's operation, all while wearing a wire. Just look at the picture. You see how nice and fit her... wire is? This role made splashes because this was the first time Halle shows some tittays. Sure she has a sex scene in Monster's Ball but it's with Billy Bob Thornton, and that's just gross man.

8. Sara Harris (Eva Mendes) - Training Day, 2001

No one really knew who this beautiful Cuban-American actress was until her role in training day. She plays the girlfriend of a bad ass Denzel Washington. Now, when you have a boyfriend like Denzel, you HAVE to be tough as nails. I mean, he is just one bad ass cop which means in order to be with him, she has to be one bad ass sexy mamma. It also helps that she has a nude scene in this movie.

7. Jessica Rabbit (Kathleen Turner) - Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, 1988
The only animated character to make the list, and with good reason. Lets forget the fact that she has great legs, or a nice slim waste, or nice thick rack. Lets forget that the the hair covering her one eye gives her a sexy, seductive look. Lets instead consider the fact she truly does not care about someones exterior. I mean, come on, she's married to a rabbit! She clearly only cares about what's on the inside which means anyone has a chance. Man, talking about a cartoon like this makes me feel a little weird...

6. Jennifer Check (Megan Fox) - Jennifer's Body, 2009

We could have put Megan Fox in any of her role's and it would have been hot. She may not be much of an actress, but she is definitely a looker. Now, picture being in high school and the hottest girl in school wanting to have sex with you. Every teenage boys dream. This is Jennifer Check. She is constantly horny and ready for some action, whether its with guys or girls. Sure, she may be a demon and may eat you after having sex with you, but hey, that sure is a way to go out. Dying after having sex with one of the hottest girls.. that's the way i want to go.

We're almost there guys! we've made it from 15-6 and are now entering our top 5!! Who made the cut? Only one way to find out..

Hottest/Sexiest Female movie character

Alright, so recently I finally got around to watching the movie "Grease". Yes yes I know, I'm way behind, but atleast i got around to watching it alright! Moving on, one thing I did notice was how hot Sandy Olsson was. Man, something about her innocent girl attitude and then transitioning at the end into a leather jacket wearing sex bomb just got the blood pumping. So much so, that it raised discussion here at the offices of Mind of Mayshus as to who are the hottest female movie characters. This lead to the creation of a list of the top 15 female movie characters. Before we go on, we need to address a few things. The characters were chosen based on attractiveness, sex appeal, and, in some cases, level of badassness. So without further ado, I bring to you the top 15 female movie characters as per the team at Mind of Mayshus, divided into 3 posts.

15. Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth) - American Pie, 1999
Come on man, do I really need to say why she made the list? Not only is she hot, but she has no issues with masturbating in a dude's bedroom. She didn't know Jim had left the house at all so as far as she knew, he could have been right outside but that did not stop her. On top of that, when Jim came into the room she was down for some action. Until Jim had a bit of a spill... But still, Nadia is definitely one of the hotter female characters.

14. Gia Carangi (Angelina Jolie) - Gia, 1998

Before she was Laura Croft, Mrs Smith, or that chick from Wanted, she played the role of super model Gia Carangi. This is one of the first times we see Angelina in all her topless glory. She's not overly thin either in the movie, and to top it all off, she has a couple girl on girl scenes. This was definitely one of Angelina's hotter roles.

13. Kelly Van Ryan (Denise Richards) - Wild Things, 1998

For starters, she is smoking hot. She plays a highschool student who is accusing her teacher of sexual assault. Throughout the movie, to keep herself safe from the law, she seduces whoever she has to to watch her own back. Now, I don't know of any guy who would pass up some Kelly Van Ryan action, but she's so good she even seduces a young Neve Campbell in one of the hottest pool make out scenes I have seen to date.

12. Kathryn Merteuil (Sarah Michelle Gellar) - Cruel Intentions, 1999

Yes, that is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Only this time, she plays Ryan Phillippe's sexy and seductive step sister who makes a bet with him that she can seduce a virgin Reese Witherspoon before he can. You heard right, she believes her game is so tight that she can seduce a young, female virgin. That is hot. She even has a pretty passionate, tongue filled make out scene with a young Selma Blair. As you can tell, here at Mind of Mayshus, we are very into the girl on girl action.

11. Sandy Olsson (Olvia Newton John) -Grease, 1978
Sweet, sweet Sandy. The girl who inspired this list to be created. She's such a sweet, innocent young lady who gets caught up with the wrong crowd. No, just kidding. Danny's an alright guy I guess. But there's something about Sandy that is just so appealing. Maybe it's the whole good girl gone bad thing, or maybe its just the fact that she's hella hot. Whatever it is, we don't care, we just know that she is our number 11.

Well, those are our numbers 15-11. Stay tuned for the top 10 coming real soon!!

Century Club!

Flip cup, beer pong, kings, ring of fire. These are all drinking games that most (if not all of us) have either played or have witnessed people playing. We all have fun playing these games, people get drunk, have a laugh, and move on. But there's another game on the block that will seperate the real drinkers from the posers. The game I speak of is The Century Club.

Century Club, aka Centurion aka Century Challenge aka Chicken of the North aka Hundred's Club is a game strictly involving beer. The main objective of the game is to have a shot of beer every minute for 100 minutes and be the last one standing. We all know that beer does not have nearly the same amount of alcohol content as shots of hard liqour do, which leads people to believe that taking 100 shots of beer is nothing. Do not be mistaken, it is no easy task.

Let's do some Mind of Mayshus math for a bit. A GOOD shot glass is about 1.5 oz. Since we are taking 100 shots of beer, it equals to about 150 oz. A standard bottle of beer is 341 mL. There are approximately 29.6 mL in one ounce. Since we are consuming 150 oz, it is equal to 4440 mL. Now divide that by 341 (mL per beer bottle) and you get approximately 13. What does that mean? That means that within 100 min, or 1 hour and 40 min, you are consuming 13 beers!! Most people don't even drink that many beers throughout a whole night! Call it whatever you like, but the Century Club is no easy task.

Why do I bring this game up? Well, we here at Mind of Mayshus feel that it would be quite entertaining if I tried to tackle the Century Club. I will try to consume 13 beers within 100 minutes! I don't even want to do it to be honest, but I will do it for you guys: the fans!! My promise to all the Mind of Mayshus faithful is that I will attempt the Century Club in 2011, and post many pictures for your entertainment. It will take a lot of work, but it will get done.

So the next time you're with all your friends playing drinking games, why not try the Century Club? It promises to deliver a drunken good times. In the mean time, check out this video of some guys attempting to do the Century Club.
